Prices have shot up

I was due to fly to SE Asia with KLM in 2 weeks time.
Due to the pandemic I have had to cancel my plans etc.
KLM will only give me a Voucher for my flight even thought the flight has now been cancelled.
That's not where my problem is as I will be looking at going to SE Asia in 2022 so will use the voucher to book flights for then.
The problem I have is that I have just checked the flights I require for 2022 and the price has increased by close to 65% so I am stuck with a voucher that is pretty much worthless.
Not happy.

The worst customer service ever!

The worst customer service ever!
They refused to refund me my money for a flight they cancelled due to Covid and they kept telling me that they had refunded me when in fact they hadn’t as my bank had rejected the refund because it went into the wrong account. I presented them with all the evidence and over a period of five months they kept promising me that they will considerate it and they kept rejecting it then they considerate it and then they reject it. I got the same messages over maybe 100 emails. Never fly KLM there are plenty of other airlines to choose from it was not worth the hassle. They STILL haven’t given me the refund. My bank paid me the refund. Disgraceful KLM!

Most dysfunctional booking process…

Most dysfunctional booking process ever.
1) Can't recover password to account.
2) Can't pay online due to technical error. Am referred to paying over phone...
3) ...which I can't do since there is no answer on the given phone number.

Poor support and language choices

Good luck if you need important/urgent information on your upcoming flight. Support is virtually non-existent. Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp messages are ignored. Call centers are closed or take hours to take your call and answer your questions. Also, check-in e-mails for Brazilian-American passengers traveling from China to Brazil through the Netherlands are sent in Italian (?!).

I missed my plane

I was gonna travel with KLM from San Francisco -> Amsterdam , Amsterdam-> Copenhagen. missed my flight from San Fransisco to Amsterdam. Even though the mistake was on my side, KLM where so kind to me and told me to talk to their sister company Airfrance to see if I could rebook my ticket with them. I was able to do so and made it home just 5 hours later than my original ticket, feeling very thankful that they helped me out. I don’t think many other flight company would have done the same. Definitely makes me want to choose KLM and Airfrance in the future!

Shocking

Shocking, the worst airline I've ever dealt with. It's been over 6 months since they cancelled my flight and they're still holding on to my money and finding new excuses all the time to not give it back. thieves

Just booked flights to Brussels with KLM. Cost was 230. Following day the cancelled the flights. But yet the flight is still for sale online. After a lot of messaging for refund they issued us with another flight. Then an hour later cancelled that one. Heard nothing since. Scammers. Never again

After years of good service I had been…

After years of good service I had been a loyal flyer. I even understand the incredible strain they are under. However, I have been emailed by KLM and told that my refund will be ready in 60 days. THIS IS AFTER EIGHT MONTH WAIT! NOW I MUST WAIT 10 MONTHS??? KLM really hates their customers or they are grossly incompetent.

Unreliable company! AVOID!!!

Unreliable company! I was promised reimbursement for the comfort seats that were cancelled without prior notice and the expenses I had for having my bag lost on the trip. When I asked for a refund, they denied saying that I should have asked before the end of the trip and that I had missed the deadline. I don't recommend it to anyone and I just want to tell everyone what happened.
This problem happened last year!

Enough is enough!

I booked a flight to India through CheapOair("Cheapo") on 1/5/20. CheapOair booking number is 65976824 and airline confirmation is L66988. Flight 6034(KLM) was from Detroit Wayne, Michigan on 5/28/20 to New Delhi IGI, India. Return was from flight 878(KLM) from Mumbai, India on 6/13/20 to Detroit Wayne, Michigan. I paid Cheapo a total of $1,086.46 for this roundtrip.

My flight was cancelled due to COVID19 and as soon as I found out in March 2020, I called Cheapo and KLM to inquire about the next steps and to obtain a refund. I have called Cheapo since March 2020 to obtain a refund as my flight was cancelled.

After four months, I received a refund from Cheapo in late July 2020 but only for $660.51. I called KLM again and they confirmed that I should receive a full refund as my flight was cancelled. I called Cheapo about two weeks ago and their reply was that KLM did not update my ticket's flight status to cancelled, therefore I did not receive a full refund of $960.51 and was penalized $300. My father booked this same round-trip and we paid separately. He promptly received a full refund of $960.51 after calling Cheap only twice or so. They are treating their customers unequally and this is very wrong.

Both KLM and Cheapo have given me the runaround. I spoke to Cheapo on 8/2/20 to ask for an update. They told me that KLM only sent them $660.51 instead of a full refund amount and I was penalized for $300 for an unknown reason. However, KLM told me they sent the full refund amount of $960.51 to Cheapo. Please, please help me obtain the remaining $300 of the refund that is owed to me due to the flight being cancelled.

I have traveled with Delta, a KLM partner, for years so I did not expect this disregard for their customers. Please just give me the money I am owed so I can move on.

So sad that KLM has troubles with this pandemic going on. It is always a good company to fly with. Please everybody, stay calm and let them handle their business. Thanks for all the years flying with you guys :)

Very horrible experience at trying to…

Very horrible experience at trying to get my refund voucher eventhough illegal after KLM cancelled my flight due to covid19. I processed my refund on 11/04/20 and have still not received my voucher. I believe it is a deliberate attempt by KLM to avoid paying so that you would resort to section 75 as a means of recovering your money. This is scandalous and suggest the credit card companies close ranks and take KLM on.
In the past week l have made three attempts on knowing the status of my refund request but have been ignored by KLM on two occasions and a response on one. The response says my vouchers have been sent to my email address which is a blatant lie.
Their inactions are deliberate to frustrate costumers but they forget these are people they owe but not people who are bagging for handouts.
